The panel is part of the anthropological field of the study of African descent. The proposed perspective focuses on the agentivity expressed by shared creative practices, thought as a strategy to play with the rules of colonialism, following authors such as Fanon, hooks, Mbembe, Gilroy, and as an affirmation of decolonial positions.
My perspective of study that intertwines the analysis of the meaning of aesthetic practices and religious practices allows us to reflect on these issues from everyday life trajectories, useful to deconstruct exoticizing and reifying images.
